The book explained the dye process very well
I think this is a great read with a lot of pictures, tips and tutorials. Looking forward to more books from this author.
good book for basics and techniques. She has a very energentic way of presenting the topic and you can tell that she loves what she does.
This book is great if you want colour charts, but very lacking on any explaination of how to dye fabric.
This is the clearest most concise color theory and dye book that I have ever used. Clear easy to understand color theory with multiple examples of each lesson with color pictures, and dye supplier color names and dye numbers.The dye instructions are well presented. Good explination of supplies needed for dyeing fabric and threads. The many step by step clear pictures make the process easy to follow.This book is truly a dye workshop with Ellen, in book form. The amount of information she has given us in this book is more than worth it's price.This is now my go to book for how to dye fabric.As Ellen would say, this is a very "worthy" book to own.
If you never taken color theory or if you always wanted to dye your own fabric this is the book for you. This book is easy to understand and gives step by step instructions of what to do.
