The book kept you on the edge all the time. You didn't know what would happen next. Love Arias and Declan. Can't wait for the full mate bond. First time with a book that I want a happy ending for them. Would love to read of them having children and the trials and all of raising kids with their powers. They would have their hands full. Thanks Danielle for a wonderful series. I hope book 5 is available now to read. I started with book 1 and as soon as I finished it, I bought book 2 and continued buying the series as soon as I read the book. Had to wait on book 4 and as soon as I got it, I read it in one day. I go back and read sections because they were so intriguing I couldn't stop.

These books have great potential and are definitely enjoyable reads, but I do not like how short they are. I get tired of Aria just recapping what happened. It makes feel feel less connected to the story.

I read the entire series and really enjoyed it. The heroine is feisty and relatable on many levels. The books could stand a little finer editing for misspelled words or wrong usage, but there is not so much that it affected the flow. My only real critique beyond that is the propensity to repeat situational background. I understand it is to bring a new reader up to date, but in reality it doesn't really help...you need to read the pre ions books. I really enjoyed the series and look forward to rmore.

I am looking bing this series, read a few other reviews and yes there is a few places where better editing would be helpful (usually just 1 word) and a little less summarizing, should just read the series in order) can’t wait for the next one!!!

It’s about darn time! This series has hooked since the beginning. Got to love the wisea$$, butt kicking heroine and the sexy alpha! Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Fourth book in this series. I tore through the first 3 books and eagerly read the 4th book in this installment. I enjoyed reading about Ari and Declan's developing relationship. The ending however, in my opinion, was virtually identical to that of Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews.

Still on the binge. Aria and Declan have this push and pull. Will Aria finally make up her mind?Continuity issues: the age of a girl changed from 11 to 13 in a very short time. There are some other niggling things, but overall liking the story.

Great book great series. Full of action, friendships, wereanimals, humans with abilities and love. Great story line and strong characters. So grab your copy and enjoy reading.

Ian Buruma has always been one of my favorite writers, especially in the way he uses insightful and precise language to capture the personalities of those he observes. In this case, through those characters and his relationships with them during the years he lived in Japan, he manages to capture an entire oeuvre as well, the avant-garde fringe theater and arts culture of Tokyo during the 1970s.I first lived in Japan as an undergraduate during the early ‘sixties, more than a decade earlier, but found in Buruma’s memoir many similarities in our experiences - and the lessons learned therefrom. Even within the more prosaic educational world of the university I attended, it didn’t take long to realize “once a gaijin, always a gaijin” was a necessary dictum to accept, however much one might wish otherwise.During my forty-plus years of teaching Japanese history at the university level that followed, I witnessed student initial notions of Japan shift from images of WWII, geisha, samurai and the atom bomb to fears of “Japan as Number One” and on to the Soft Power influences of manga, anime, Miyazaki and Murakami.Buruma reminds us all that there’s still much more to know about Japan beyond even these changeable and superficial idealized attitudes and images. On the basis of shared similarities and insightful observations alone, I can not recommend this memoir highly enough. It brought back memories and provided both confirmation of my own experiences and insights into a layer of Tokyo life and culture, recognizable but unexperienced.

What a marvelously evocative memoir! With insight, candor, and humility, Buruma guides us through the teeming world of Japan's late '70's avant-garde. It's a fascinating slice of post-War Japanese history that's been right under our noses, yet largely unknown. A gifted narrator, Buruma expertly sets the scene and shows us the places and personalities from this world that shaped his growth.Buruma is particularly good in two tricky areas. First, he does a great job conveying the subtleties of being a foreigner in Japan -- where one is lionized, after a fashion, and yet always kept at arm's length (then and now, it must be said). Buruma gets the balance just right in explaining both the attractions and the deep frustrations of the gaijin's experience. Second, he describes with tact and honesty the libidinal pull between East and West, a complex dynamic that could so easily descend into stereotypes, but in his telling never does."Romance" reminded me of John David Morley's unjustly neglected, "Pictures from the Water Trade," an autobiographical novel that plumbs many of the same depths. Both are coming of age stories that sparkle in their elucidation of Japan.

Buruma, of Dutch and British background, lived 6 years in Japan in the 70’s. He was a photographer and writer there, attaching himself to various Japanese groups and observing their lives and culture (now the editor of The New York Review). The book is lively, full of personal experience and insight. I found it convincing and great fun to read!

Great cookbook but if you are a person who truly follows a ketogenic diet and do not use net carbs then this cookbook is not going to help you much. It featured net carbs to be considered low carb and I do not do net carbs. there is one recipe however that makes it worhtwhile and that is the Cloud bread recipe. 0 carbs. Yeah! The recipes look fantastic so it you can do 17 grams of carbs for a piece of bread then go for it. That is the highest carb bread I believe in the book.

The photos on the front and back cover don't reflect the actual recipes in the book. There are no recipes for those breads in the book.

I am an experienced baker and have tried only the sandwich bread recipe, as it was worth the price of the book to find some good bread. It is horrible bread and raised exactly 1 inch....well, it didn't raise since the batter was one inch. So, I read the instructions again and again, and started over. The second time, I got the same exact results. This cookbook is a waste of money.

Horribly Written. On Page 22 The Blueberry loaf calls for Butter but there is no butter listed in the ingredients.The instructions are difficult to read and at times make no sense . Page 20 is confusing. I attached a pic so you can judge for yourself. The recipe sayto make the cinnamon swirl by mixing the erythritol and cinnamon together & set aside. Next cream the butter and Ery. together? But there is no additional ery. listed in the ingredients, so I guessed and used the cinnamon swirl. 35 pages and not all are recipes! It’s more like a pamphlet and not worth the price paid! I can get a huge cookbook for that! Not to mention someone needs to do proofreads on this. Missing ingredients, order of making recipes messed up, pictures aren't related to the recipes, very misleading.

I am an accomplished baker and desperately seeking a quality grain free sandwich loaf.... as soon as I read the ingredients I knew there was something not right. I prepared the recipe all the same and followed it to the letter. I have posted a photo of the result below. The cover indicates that it has full illustrations. And it does. It has full illustrations of breads that cannot be made without wheat flour.

I bought this book because of the pictures of the boules on the front and back. With very few possible exceptions the pictures on the inside were not taken from the actual products of the recipes. I may be wrong, but I feel CHEATED!

I really want to love this book but it did not deliver as I was expecting. I try two recipes (pizza and cloud bread) and I was disappointed with both. I have some other keto cookbooks and we are having bread almost everyday with good results. I only give three starts because the ideas are there, so you can google it and watch videos in you tube to learn how to make it right. There is more information online than in this little book.

About the Author

Neil J. Salkind received his PhD from the University of Maryland in Human Development, and taught for 35 years at the University of Kansas in the Department of Psychology and Research in Education. His early interests were in the area of children’s cognitive development, and after research in the areas of cognitive style and (what was then known as) hyperactivity, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of North Carolina’s Bush Center for Child and Family Policy. His work then changed direction and the focus was on child and family policy, specifically the impact of alternative forms of public support on various child and family outcomes. He delivered more than 150 professional papers and presentations; and wrote more than 100 trade and textbooks; and is the author of Statistics for People Who (Think They) Hate Statistics (Sage), Theories of Human Development (Sage), and Exploring Research (Prentice Hall). He edited several encyclopedias, including the Encyclopedia of Human Development, the Encyclopedia of Measurement and Statistics, and the recently published Encyclopedia of Research Design. He was editor of Child Development Abstracts and Bibliography for 13 years.

This is an EXCELLENT health guide! I can't express that enough! What I really like about it is it's written by an American with knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). I've found that, often, when a book on TCM is written by Chinese, or Asian practitioners, it's hard to follow and they're not really accustomed to the way Americans eat or practice health, so you wind up not being able to "relate" to what they're talking about, or the terms they use are so esoteric, you can't follow what they're saying.But not so with Reid! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book as a starter, and for anyone who's been into TCM for awhile, because it is easy to read, with a lot of good recipes for TCM.FIVE STARS FOR REID!!!!

Not knowing what to expect, I was thoroughly delighted with the subjects covered in this book. More than just information to be mentally ingested, this book provides much info about Oriental philosophy, and energy exercises (chi gung). Although it could take a lifetime just to master all the material presented in this book, it is also a valuable reference for those wanting to complement their Western medical training.

Product arrived in condition as advertised. Useful info for about first 75 pages, then author diverges into his own recommendations and thoughts which do not come from Traditional Chinese Medicine.

As always, Daniel Reid delivers thorough taoist work. How lucky we are to have this great taoist teacher who is able to explain highly sophisticated taoist items with ease! If you are going to start (or continue with) your Great Work, buy one, two or three of his books and you will be hooked for the rest of your life. Thank you, Daniel!

It is so very interesting and informative, more than I ever dreamed it would be...It is easy to read, so interesting and really has me hooked on changing my lifestyle and diet. If you are exhausted (or broke) from our Western medicines and STILL unwell-you really should consider looking into Traditional Chinese Medicine. This book is the best place to start. The author takes you on a journey dating back 5,000 years ago and explains in detail the philosophy for cultivating health, vitality and spiritual awareness to improve your health, reduce stress, exercise your body and improve your diet.
